Stevanny
Stevanny is a short narrative film that follows a high school student who becomes the target of sustained bullying by three girls at school. What begins with humiliation during a moment of vulnerability gradually escalates into physical violence, revealing the damaging effects of teenage social hierarchies, peer pressure, and repeated abuse.
As Stevanny becomes increasingly isolated and overwhelmed by what she experiences, the story takes a darker turn. Unable to confront her situation through ordinary means, she turns to a ritual as an act of retaliation against those who have hurt her. What begins as a response to humiliation ultimately leads to fatal consequences, transforming the story from a portrayal of school bullying into an exploration of what can happen when trauma, anger, and the desire for revenge are allowed to grow unchecked.
Markus served as the Director and Screenwriter, developing the story, characters, and emotional progression of the film. He directed the performances and shaped the film’s visual and narrative approach, particularly the gradual transition from an everyday high school environment into a darker psychological atmosphere. Through the project, Markus explored bullying not only as an act of physical or social aggression, but also through the emotional consequences it can leave behind.
